2. PerformanceYou can get a hard wire kit for the valentine. check out their site. The stealth for the valentine would not work for me. If I ever got pulled over for something silly. The valentine is too exposed... Can we say confiscate on the spot. It also had to be audible with the T-tops off. Optional external speaker took care of that, you can hear it loud and clear at 100 with the windows down and tops up with the radio blasting. Performance. It is pretty close to the 8500 and the V1. I use the spec display most of the time. It shows the actual frequency of the most imminent threat, helps kill the false alarms. Other times I use the pro settings shows the signal for up to 8 threats at the same time. Plus you can buy a laser jammer... I drove up to Montreal about 2 months ago. I got hit with laser 8 times. KA radar twice, and K once. All the hits were close to a mile away. Plenty of time to slow down before they could legally lock on.
